I love trying out new skincare, makeup and beauty products...
With a fresh new year now here, I want to start how I mean to go on, and that means using all the products this year that I love, love, love and find amazing!
Now that I'm in my 40's, I'm finding that I need to find those trusty products that work for me, and that I can rely on day in, day out!
So without further ado, here are 10 of my favourite beauty products to kickstart 2025...

NIVEA Q10 + Vitamin C Firming Body Lotion
This is my all-time fave body lotion (and I’ve tried a ton)...
It’s super nourishing, dries super quick and isn’t greasy at all!
It’s definitely made my skin feel firmer, but I don’t know whether that’s the lotion itself or the fact that I’ve been using it religiously. My skin is just all around in better condition, and it's soft and smooth…
I struggle a lot to find decent body lotions I love because I hate greasiness, I’m not into a thick body butter, as I feel like I’m caked in it and I want a lotion that sinks in without having to wait around for ages…

Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo + Conditioner
I’ve been colouring my hair since I was 15 years old, so that’s a lot of hair dye over the past 25+ years!
Even though I’m older, I still get greasy roots and it drives me nuts…
This shampoo is amazing! It’s gentle on my scalp, smells gorgeous, and really protects the colour in my hair…
It’s also really taken care of my split ends in between cuts, and the ends of my hair feel super soft!

Skin + Me Daily Defence Oil-Free SPF 50 Sunscreen
Another thing we should all be doing, no matter what our age, is using an SPF daily on our skin!
Our faces are prone to sun damage every day, so wearing a high SPF sunscreen is an absolute MUST!
I’ve tried many over the years, and most of them have been cakey, greasy, or they just haven’t sat right on my skin.
An SPF sunscreen for me, especially when it comes to my face, needs to sink into my skin and provide a nice base for my makeup!

Super Facialist Vitamin C + Brighten Gentle Daily Micro Polish Wash
There’s nothing like that squeaky clean feeling when you’ve had the “everything” shower, and for me, that includes a body and face scrub, to get rid of all the dead skin…
I have fairly sensitive skin, so I have to be careful I don’t use anything too abrasive, and finding a decent face scrub’s been a bit of a mission!
My skin can feel very dull, so I want a scrub to give me a lush glow and make my skin feel super clean.
The Super Facialist Vitamin C + Brighten Gentle Daily Micro Polish Wash is incredible. It feels really refreshing while applying it (although it can tingle a little, but in a nice way) and you can literally feel the dead skin melting away!
It really is an amazing product, and a little goes a long way, so you only need the smallest amount!

HASK Argan Oil Hair Oil
I’ve not used a hair oil before but decided to try one when my hair started to become a bit dry and brittle.
From all the years of constant colouring, my hair finally decided to tell me it needed more moisture!
This can be really difficult when you have greasy roots, because any products that are rich in moisture can cause my hair to become even greasier!
The great thing about a hair oil though, is you can just use it on the ends of your hair, not touching the roots at all…
I’m not going to lie, it took a while for me to notice any difference, but after using it for a good few months, my hair is super soft and shiny after using it.
I also recommended it to my sister-in-law, and she uses it religiously as well and loves it!
My Burberry Blush Eau De Parfum
Finding a perfect scent can be difficult, and a perfume is a very personal choice, as it can really signify a person.
My Burberry Blush is one of my absolute favourite scents, and it means so much to me, as my Dad bought it for me while we were away in Turkey for my brother’s wedding…
Every time I wear it, it takes me right back to that magical day!
It’s a blend of fruity and floral, with a base of jasmine and wisteria, along with the essences of lemon, pomegranate, rose petals and crisp apple.
It’s super fresh and very feminine and my go-to daily scent…

Beauty Pie Futurelipstick Luxe Shine
I’m not a big lipstick wearer if I’m honest (I’m a lipbalm girl through and through) however, when I do want to indulge, this lipstick is my go to and it’s gorgeous!
It’s smooth and glossy and the colour stays put!
There’s 8 shades to choose from (I wear Nude Blush) and they feel so creamy and luxurious on your lips.
If you haven’t heard of Beauty Pie before, they’re a brand that sell high quality, luxurious make up and skincare products, without the high price tags!
You can buy items either with a membership (much cheaper) or without (if you just want to buy the odd thing here and there).
I’ve used them for so many amazing products and can’t recommend them enough.

Superluminous Under-Eye Genius Corrector
Unfortunately, I’m a gal who suffers from dark circles under my eyes.
It’s so annoying, but something I’m used to dealing with now.
Although I do use eye patches a couple of times a week, which really helps, I needed something which I could use daily, to cover the circles.
I wanted something light and easy to apply on my under eye area, without the need to go heavy with the concealer…
Drum roll please for the magic of this under eye genius!
This is an awesome product and one I will go to time and time again.
The “superluminous” in the product title is exactly that.
It uses a luminosity pigment to change the way the light hits your face, giving the illusion that you don’t have under eye circles…
It’s fascinating to watch how it works, and covers my dark circles sooooooo well.

Max Factor Miracle Pure Cream Blush Matte
My favourite blush right now is this Max Factor Miracle Pure Cream Matte Blush.
I am absolutely loving how versatile and easy this is to blend in to my skin, plus it has an added bonus of Hyaluronic Acid within it’s ingredients.
It’s highly pigmented and you only need a tiny amount to create a beautiful, dewy glow.
I usually love a creamy blush during the summer months and a powder blush during the winter, however, this for me works all year round and I adore it…
